Paint Me a Blue Sky

I’ve been playing with my snap-and-shoot camera settings, trying to get an decent indoor picture, which has been quite impossible. Now I have strange settings and I can’t find how to get to where I can set them back, which wouldn’t be hard except I’ve been trying to figure it out in three-minute windows when I’m not too busy. (I’m busy writing, I guess. 🙂 )

But, I like how this picture at The Little Deli turned out, funny settings and all. Sparkles is growing up, because now she helps Buttercup with our routine, “Turn around now, so Mommy can get the back of our heads!”

The blue tint made me think of Ian Moore’s Paint Me a Blue Sky, from another time, when I hung out at Fitzgerald’s in Houston listening to live music at midnight.

Now I’m at Little Deli at 6pm with the kids.

I wouldn’t change it for anything.

We should buy some kind of meal plan there. Have you had their vegetarian sandwich? AMAZING.
